Xiuxin Jingzang (修心經藏) is an iPhone app for reading, listening to, and practicing Buddhist scriptures.

What the App Does

Choose a scripture from the catalog, read its original text and explanations, practice copying characters, and resume your progress later. The app also provides Buddhist figure information, a glossary, recitation tracking, and audio playback. Scripture content and audio are downloaded when needed and can be reused from the device cache.

Troubleshooting

Scriptures do not load: Check your internet connection and try again. The first download requires a network connection.

Audio does not play: Check that your device volume is on, then try playback again. Cloud audio requires an internet connection the first time it is downloaded.

Progress or notes are missing: The app stores this information on the device. Avoid deleting the app or restoring the iPhone from a different device if you need to keep local app data.

The app shows an error: Close and reopen the app, confirm that iOS is up to date, and retry. If the issue continues, contact us with the steps that caused it.
